Dr Kathleen Singer
Clinical Psychologist & Chartered Psychologist

Dr Singer is a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC. She is an experienced clinician who is available to see a range of people including those who identify as neurodivergent. Dr Singer offers face-to-face and online appointments.
Kathleen aims to provide a safe environment and compassionate support to enable individuals to understand their own unique challenges, how they have arisen, and how they can help themselves in coping and developing resilience for their lifetime.
Kathleen uses an integrative approach mainly drawing from Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She is also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy approaches.
Kathleen also enjoys working with individuals who are seeking assessment for neuropsychological issues.
Kathleen has worked with children and young people, and their families and carers, as well as adults. Through her enjoyment of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), she regularly works with individuals who experience anxiety, depression/low mood, poor self esteem, trauma (both PTSD and complex or early life trauma), personality disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties.
Kathleen believes everyone should be able to access psychological support and has varied experience in working with individuals who identify as neurodivergent. She enjoys adapting therapy to suit each person’s own strengths.
Kathleen completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Glasgow in 2012.
She then completed a Master’s degree in Brain Sciences from University of Glasgow in 2013.
From 2013–2015, Kathleen worked as an assistant psychologist in an inclusive school in Accra, Ghana.
Kathleen completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology between 2015-2018 at the University of Glasgow.
