FAQ
Are you a regulated profession?
Clinical Psychologists are registered as Practitioner Psychologists, with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They retain a register of professionals who meet HCPC standards for training, skills, behaviour, and health. The HCPC Register is available here: Check the Register and find a registered health and care professional | (hcpc-uk.org).
Where can I find further information on professional standards?
The British Psychological Society (BPS) promotes excellence in Psychology. The highest level of psychological expertise is reflected in Chartership. Our Clinical Psychologists are Chartered Members of the Society. For further information please see: BPS

Do you accept third-party referrals?
With the consent of the client, we accept referrals from health care professionals, health insurers, rehabilitation companies, businesses, voluntary agencies, and solicitors.
For self-funding clients seeing a Clinical Psychologist, our rate is £110, based on a 55-minute therapeutic hour. For self-funding clients seeing a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology, the rate is £85, based on a 55-minute therapeutic hour. If your treatment is being funded by an employer, solicitor, or other organisation, the financial liability falls to the third party, who can contact us directly to discuss our fee structure.
Upon booking an appointment you will be emailed details on how to make payment, usually by bank transfer.
How do I use health insurance?
Please let us know at the point of booking if you have health insurance, and we will guide you through the process for accessing this.
Following an assessment, we will discuss your treatment options. There is flexibility, depending on your needs. Generally, this is weekly, but we also offer fortnightly sessions. Medicolegal appointments are usually a single session.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation. The full fee will be payable for short notice.
